This Week: Seasonal Jobs with the Park District Close and Blomingdale Trail Meeting

Tomorrow is the last day to submit job applications for seasonal employment with the Park District. Every year the Park District hires a large number of temporary workers to work at parks all around the city during the warm months. These are great job opportunities for adults and younger people in high school or college and there are many different types of jobs posted. So if you haven't already, go to the Park District's job page and get your applications in.

On Thursday, there will be a community meeting for the Bloomingdale Trail where the development team will present the framework plan and discuss how community input has affected the decision making process so far. There will also be opportunities to offer input on the plan's proposals. The meeting will be held at Yates Elementary, located at 1839 N. Richmond. It will run from 6 - 7:30 pm, with open houses from 5 - 6 pm and 7:30 - 8 pm.
